Study tours for municipalities

Learn about the newest trends in sustainable planning and development

If you're a group of at least 10 people from a municipality office, the Technical department or the City Council - or perhaps from Culture and Leisure? We plan your visit program / study trip down to the smallest detail and based on the goals you have with the trip.

What will you get?

  •  An academic program, 2-3 days, approx. at 9 -17 every day, where we make sure that you get from A to B, by private bus, public transport, bicycle, etc. We also work with a travel agency that provides flights / trains and hotels for you.

  • You will meet international professionals behind each project, who will be in charge of the tour of, for example, a youth housing development, a new museum and which will give you an insight into the most important characteristics of the project, from concept to energy-saving solutions, etc.

  • You visit municipalities abroad, for example in Rotterdam, Hamburg or Växjo. We arrange a tailor-made presentations on the value of wood construction and how to get started with a strategy. You will learn about, how to make demands on suppliers. CO-2 reduction, how to develop climate-proof urban spaces and much more.

  • A targeted process; before-during and after the trip, we facilitate some sessions with your contacts and the whole group, so that you get the full benefit of the trip, from the contacts to the experiences and reflections you have had. We end the process by delivering a presentation or document about the decisions you have made (based on the projects you have seen) - and the topics that you will discuss in the future.
